At one time physicists thought they had everything solved and done. Then they found out they didn’t even know the tenth of it!! The more they know, the more they know what they don’t know!!
Since everyone admits they don’t know how big the universe is or is indeed infinite, there is no way anyone can say it doesn’t work without dark matter. Just looking for an explanation for what is observered locally. All just theory. How about a small mistake in observation taken as fact that throws everything off. Just a theory of course.
