Petey, the out-of-body body is trying to tell you something; ‘lose the oboe and maybe try a little bit of soft-shoe’.

My estranged wife, at a very young age, had to play piano in a Southern Baptist church while Jesse Helms was forced to listen. She hated that. I really have to wonder how much of a donation was made to get Jesse to attend that affair? Trust me, Petey’s getting off easy.

I LOVE Fidgety Digits! A mangled oboe in high school. I’m still embarrassed

Will it be a trio performance? A quartet, or….

Maybe instead of Fidgety Digits he should try John Cage’s 4’33”.

I was in a school play – ’Journey’s End’ by R C Sherriff. We rehearsed and rehearsed and when the performance came I went on stage, and that is all I remember. it was a complete blank. Later, in the school magazine a teacher wrote that the chap who played Lieutenant Trotter (me) “fitted the part like a hand in the glove”, so evidently I was actually on stage, and actually said something ! Now, over 70 years later I still remember nothing, and until I just now, when read the play up on Wikipedia I couldn’t even have told you what it was all about – other than WW1. A weird experience.

I thought this might happen. How many Peteys will it take to get him (them) on stage, and how many more to perform?

Go, Peteys! We’re rooting for (all of) you….
