I share Pops feeling. The older I get the more things come to mind that I did and for which I can never make amends. Sleep is fleeting at such times.

Hawthorns said it much more seriously. No dungeon so deep, no punishment more cruel than one’s own memories. [forgive poor paraphrase]

I use to think about some of the dumb things that I did in the past and wondered how I could have been so dumb to do what ever …… “BUT” …… now-a-days I’m less concerned especially when I read or see on TV …… some of the really dumb things, done or said by people …. especially Politicians …… :0
