My grandparents had four of those feeders around the perimeter of their porch. Brought in so much traffic my grandfather had trouble keeping them filled, and the birds would nag at him to get him to hurry up.

Yeah refill it right away. I’m still thirsty. Oops did i say that out loud.

And don’t use dye in the water this time. It’s not useful and may be bad for the birds.

Hum…

She should find a place to put the feeder that he can’t easily get to.

He was caught red-mouthed.

Well if they quit putting gin and tonic in the feeder….

And never ever put red dye in with the water. It is bad for the Hummers. 1 part sugar to 4 parts water.

Nobody got it. He eats hummingbirds, hence blood spattered on his face and shirt

That sugar water is just as healthy for the hummers as it is for him.

He’s got guilt redden all over his face.

Sugar dissolves in water if the water is at least above freezing and stirred until it is dissolved. Sugar is ‘suspended’ in water only if you don’t know what you’re doing or don’t patyattention to do it long enough.
