    It seems kind of wrong to use the word suffocate,

    … which means to be deprived of air, when you’re in the air …

    but fish gills are not designed to get the oxygen directly out of the air.

    I recall what either Jerry Lucas or one of his contemporaries once said about the changing style of basketball: “We could all dunk the ball, but we didn’t do it because it would look like showing off.” (That’s a paraphrase.)

    I wonder what the old basketball players think about taking ten steps for a lay up…

    (Yeah, I know it’s not ten steps. Sure seems like it, though.)
