    Howdy Vagabonds

A dusky morning with plenty of clouds, temp, 42. Mix of sun and clouds and a high of 60.

A relatively inactive day, go to the shop to get the nephew’s Jeep.

I’m beginning to hate vehicle inspection, it’s like the powers that be are trying to make it harder to keep a car/suv on the road, especially if it runs on gasoline. I’m beginning to suspect government overreach. OK, I’ll cool my jets now.

Hay, all y’all Vagabonds, have a wonerful day and may God bless.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

Yesterday went pretty much as planned. I stayed off my feet until time to go to church. We started a study of the book of Ruth last night. Mike just did an intensive study of that book in order to teach his men’s group and it was interesting to talk to him on the way home about the different approaches the pastor took as opposed to what Mike taught.

Mike’s roommate Chris got the estimate for repairs on his car yesterday afternoon. It was almost $4 grand! He’s willing to pay for the repairs so that his car will be in tip-top shape for his cross-country trek. When his car started acting up, he was praying for God be a mechanic to fix it. God pointed him to a good mechanic here in Henderson and the car will be fixed properly. We are God’s hands here on Earth, after all. Pray for Chris if you would, please. He’s under attack from the enemy who is trying to convince him not to go. Chris knows he’s in God’s will and the decision to go was made a long time ago, but he’s really feeling the attacks and needs reassurance.

The plumbers will be here in less than an hour to shut off all the water to the property. At least this time everyone has been warned. The plumber has asked that someone from the board be out there with them to “buffer” them from the homeowners interruptions.

We got up to 99 yesterday. Today’s forecast is for 91. Hopefully it will stay relatively cool for the plumbers. I took a cooler full of water and soda out to them.

    Everyone have a blessed day.

    Good afternoon, Vagabonds.

I gave myself a busy morning today. Almost everyone will be here for dinner tonight to celebrate my grandson’s 19th birthday. So I am am slow cooking a pork butt for BBQ pork sandwiches (his favorite) with mashed potatoes, white pepper gravy, corn on the cob and lemon cake with vanilla ice cream. He doesn’t hesitate to give a full menu when I ask him what fix for dinner. :-D

We are enjoying a mild spring, this morning started out around 55 and it is currently 81, the humidity is 38%, and our high is supposed to be 84. Not bad.

Well my “break” is almost over, I still have to frost a cake and peel potatoes. And go through the junk I left on the table yesterday.

May you all have a wonderful day.
