There’s yer problem. Super Glue dries instantly. Epoxy takes a little longer. Silicone sealant takes much longer. The duct tape is fine but ya should of used a plastic cup.
He’s lucky the box is basically paper. All he has to do is cut away the majority with scissors, then soak the remaining strips of cardboard thoroughly and just rub and roll the remains off.
Not like my family. My dad could actually fix things. But if he wasn’t home when Mom discovered a problem with the car, she would fix it… and nobody bothered to tell Dad.
