What? Like the Normandy invasion? I remember all those who who gave their live that day and the other 18 and 19 year-olds who lived to fight fascism. I wasn’t living then but we should reember and pass it on to our younger generations.
Interesting, even though we just had a coronation of the King in England and Great Britain a couple weeks ago – the last coronation before that was 70 years ago when Queen Elizabeth the second became the Queen! (Not that I was alive then.)
If I ever were to lie about my age, and I never have, I would add years, not reduce them. I would prefer people think I look young for my age, not older than what I state.

If his grammie is mother Gargle she can’t be less than 1500 years old…. being a witch.

I have a relative like that. Events on the History Channel take on a personal immediacy.

Sometimes I can’t remember why I walked into a room.

When I was little, in the 60’s, my grandma seemed so old too. But now that age is just middle-age…

She must be the way I plan to be when I turn 50 in August. I’m staying there! I will be Forever 50!

70 is the new 50? Hey if Grammie feels 50 good on her. Embrace it

I’d say maybe she watches the History channel, but a lot of that is ‘what if’ history.

Which would mean that she gave birth to your mother when she was about 7. Smart kid…..

“Well If Gladys is in her forties”, replies Harriet, “then her mother had her before she was ten”…
