I have a really nice pine dining room table which presently lives in the basement as a laundry table precisely because a dog found it’s legs really really tasty.
Yeah, I’ve had that same disagreement with all my dogs. I just try to spray on some dog repellant and accept that my furniture is going to be dog chewed. All is well. She’s worth it.

Our dining room chairs did some prison time after Lindy teethed on them. The pen wood shop would do work for state agencies and employees.
