    Actually, Irving, it’s just as wrong. Don’t let Cathy’s self-righteous tirade cloud your thinking. Either way, you’re stealing from the company, so just don’t do it. Period.

    Hey, Irving … how come it’s wrong when she does it but it’s perfectly okay when you do it?! Seems pretty hypocritical to me.

    That was exactly my point, GretchensMom. Cathy used a complete red herring to deflect Irving’s attention from what he caught her doing, and he fell for it.

    Of course it’s just as wrong if he does it. Cathy successfully distracted him just long enough for him to forget that it’s not about what he may or may not do; it’s about what she’s actually been doing.

    Last time I checked, both morning and afternoon breaks were mandatory. So, what’s wrong with using your break to check something on line?

    Because you’re still on company time, using the company’s resources. In other words, you’re still stealing from the company.
