^ Neither of which she’s in danger of having. As I said before, she’s my cure for not being stupid in any given day. That’s my common sense and motivation. Of course I slip once in a while. I’m a guy after all. But Cathy helps me live in hope.
Panel #2 is my life these days. Watching those hoarding shows on t.v. got me started on a real house-cleaning binge earlier this year (we’ve been in our house for 22 years so we’ve definitely accumulated too much stuff! But nothing like any of those people though!). Unfortunately, everything I touch seems to turn into yet another smaller project that needs to be dealt with first before I can move on to the next one. Because I’ve been doing this for so long now, I’ve given myself a severe case of burn-out and all I want to do is just stop for a while and read a good book (and I don’t mean one on organizing all my stuff!) but I know that if I do, I may get out of the mood and abandon the whole project all together so . . . I just keep pushing on. One day though, I know I’ll have the clutter conquered and we’ll have a whole lot more space in our home we’ll be able to use and enjoy and then I can do all the reading I want and be totally guilt-free about doing it too! :-)
@gretchensmom; what will you do when it’s all cleaned up? This reminds me of an old Cathy comic in which she proclaimed that she wasn’t going to stop until she had put her whole place in order. And then what would she do next?mess it all up again…

My brain read this as download a book and read it on first glance. Funny how our minds work.

Of course, she “needs” to get a drink first.-———-C’mon Aaron, you might slip because you’re HUMAN, not because you’re a guy. Females slip too.
