@gretchensmom: how about knitting? crochet? watching critter cams on the computer? (currently i am following some peregrine falcon nests and some eagle nests – last summer i was following some barn owls – watching animals is very addictive, but so i have found, alas, is also printing out my favourite pictures – beware!!)
