Why would anyone take clothes they don’t wear at home on vacation with them so that they can not wear them there too?!?!? That’s just nuts!!!!! But then, this is Cathy we’re talking about . . . and she’s the Queen of the nuts!
But it is very comforting to recognise yourself in one of the strips, and then to read comments about how other people recognise themselves also. Yes, you are not alone!

Too heavy and bulky, and I could just do without them. Well, I discovered that I couldn’t; I didn’t enjoy wearing shoes instead, or going barefoot. Since that day I have always brought my slippers.

Now if she’d only leave the skirt wherever she’s going on vacation… Maybe it could do some good. Kind of like a skirt doing outreach.
