The one time I’ve ever heard that being an inspiration is a bad thing. Is it me, or does anyone else feel a need to slap mom upside the head … just once. Grrr.

    Okay, I’m over it.

Morning frightenup! Afternoon Mom! (Um, you weren’t the mom I was talking about up there). :-)

It’s actually up to Cathy to change her ways. She needs to stop blaming her shortcomings on her mom. My mom has a terrible problem with paper clutter. I also have somewhat of a problem with paper clutter (nowhere near my mom’s level). And maybe I picked up some habits from her, but I don’t blame my clutter on my mom; I know that my issue is mainly time. Blaming others for your bad habits bugs me. Whew, got that out! :-)—

Good morning, Susan, Aaron and GretchensMom!

actually, when one day my mom started being organized it really creeped me out. I still look for signs that she was the same as me, haw haw.

There are two possible reactions to a parent’s flaws. One is just to copy them, saying with a shrug, “can’t help it.” The other is to vow never to copy them, and to succeed in keeping that vow.

Good luck, Cathy, because with a mom like yours, you’re going to need it!

Good afternoon, Aaron, frightenup, Susan, Rina and all my other fellow Cathy nut jobs joining us today. Yea . . . it’s Saturday! :-)
