Mabel fell into Cathy’s BizarroWorld and can’t get up. You can’t put a square peg in a round hole, Mabel. And you can’t fit a stout Cathy into that slinky glimmering gown. Nice try. Now go away.
Morning Susan if you arrive today. Morning lightenup possibly still sleeping. First up again, and too early on a Saturday morning. Still dark outside even. Afternoon Mom! if you stop by today.
Hello fellow Cathyites. Yeah I like fantasy and wonder as much as the next guy/gal, but miracles are another thing.
I can (mostly) relate. I used to work for software companies, which are mostly casual, plus I’m not really a “fancy” kind of girl (I’m happiest in my jeans and a t-shirt). So I have very little in my closet to dress up in, although I do think some dresses are gorgeous. I would like to congratulate Cathy on successfully walking away from an opportunity to buy something that she doesn’t need. One step at a time, Cathy! :-)Good morning, AaronClaus! I did sleep in a little (30 min or so). I think lack of sleep was contributing to my grumpiness yesterday (although dealing with irrational people didn’t help). I’m sorry you’re up so early this morning. Is not working throwing off your sleep habits?Thank you to Billy, GsMom, rgcviper and KFG for your comments yesterday! You’re awesome and they definitely helped! :-) @ KFG – “Funny” story about the babies!! It’s crazy enough having a baby, and then to have another pop out that you weren’t expecting! :-oHello to Susan, nannygram, Nancy, gmforde, GsMom, rgcviper and all the other Cathy nuts who roll around here today!
Those are the 3 words that are far away from describing Cathy (and what she should buy)—shimmering, glimmering, and sparkling. Sales lady’s own fantasies are not to be fulfilled…ever. Wow.
What a sec, I have to tease Aaron about Muttle vs. Muttley. hum hum hum. Okay, I’m done now. Poor LMB, his daddy spelled his name wrong. The little guy has a birthday coming up. He’ll be 1. Or 7.
I may live in jeans, t-shirts and tennis shoes but I just love, love, love getting all dressed up in “shimmering”, “glimmering” and “sparkling” gowns, shoes and handbags because I can be a real “girly-girl” when I get the chance! Unfortunately, I don’t get the opportunity to do it very often these days (the last time I got to dress up like that was for my 20-year high school reunion 4 years ago).
Good evening AaronClaus (how’s your eye doing today?), Billy Kringle (so which is it? 1? or 7?), lightenup (hope you’re feeling less stressed today!), K.F.G. (holy cow! triplets?!!), Susan, Nancy, rgcviper, nannygram, gmforde, MaiTai (Maia) and all the rest of the Cathy fanatics joining us here tonight. Good to “see” you all!!!!!

I don’t. I hate wearing dresses. Cathy did something right for a change. :-)

3rd day in a row, Susan. I can see on my status bar in my browser where it’s getting hung up. Something about meebo.com. Anyway, yeah, soooo slow.
