Cathy: We have a lot more at stake in the super bowl than you do! Charlene: If your team loses, you'll stomp and rant and whine and sulk and make our lives miserable for the 48 hours... Cathy: If your team wins, you'll leap and shout and strut and gloat and act like complete lunatics. Charlene: We'll still wonder what we could possibly have in common with you......But at least you'll be happy. We won't have to wonder and console you! Irving: So you're rooting for.....? Cathy and Charlene: US! We want the women to win!!! Man and Irving: AAUGH!! Cathy: It's impossible to discuss sports with men.

Football is men falling down. And overhyped. Bleh. I’ll take college sports (including football) any day because the young guys play with heart, not for $$$ and endorsements. The biggest event in our house is March Madness.

Cathy is right for once. Either way, women will win. They have the right attitude, it’s only a game. Who cares about sports as long as you have your girlfriends to hang out with and plenty of food! Then we have to put up with bad acting men who probably bet on the wrong team to win. I noticed the date was Super Bowl 35, about ten years ago. The Super Bowl is the biggest day of the year for pizza delivery and placing bets. Go Giants!

I’ve always liked college football more than the NFL, although I watch the Super Bowl. I admit I’m more into the commercials, but I do kinda like the Giants. Should be a decent game this year..Happy Sunday, everyone!

I used to like watching football when I lived in DC because I’m a Skins fan and I bet on games for one season. Now I never watch it, although college football is HUGE in the South. I will tune in to the Super Bowl for the commercials though.Hello to Susan, Aaron and gmforde! @Billy, I deleted the other comment I made. I didn’t think anybody actually read it! It was only up about one minute. You’re quick. You’re right in that we should keep the scandals in perspective. But I think it’s odd that the more scandal-ridden schools like Ohio State seem to win year after year in football, but nary a peep of scandal in basketball. I live in Ohio, so this stuff is in the news more often than where you guys live. Go Giants!

Does this mean that Irv is feeling better? The only football I’d watch would be College Football anyway….not that I even watch football…rather watch a movie instead…lol…Hi all ye Cathy nuts :)…you know who you are :)
