Gah! This was just happening at my house while I was opening the comic! DH was cooing over Percival who loooves to be brushed, while Gawain (who is skeptical of brushes) was sitting over with me.

I flatter our cat when I groom her. She meows and tries to get away in spite of it.

Folly indeed! I need to wear shades to view that lustrous coat.

My Chumsy used to trill and hold his tail up higher when I called him handsome :))
