All because Jon’s not smart enough to put something on his feet when he goes outside

My sounds of summer: !#^%@&* birds. What they do on my vehicles should be outlawed.

And Jon’s only been outside 5 minutes…

Just waiting to see this red body with bites all over his body come inside in the 4th panel…

It is good to have some mosquito repellent and some sun cream when you go out.

We have no sidewalks around these parts. Mosquitos are low in number this year. And, if the fire ants stay off my paths, they get to live. But, this is the first year in decades that I’ve not had a vegetable garden.

Jon must live in the south if there’s fire ants? Don’t know how far those dang things have gone?

At least it’s not yellowjackets! That’s what I’m plagued with.

Haven’t seen any appeal in Summer since I was about 12.

Enjoy them while you can. It’s almost August, and I find that surprising.

Summer is to be endured, not enjoyed.

Jon must really have bad luck because there are no fire ants in Muncie Indiana.

in this kind of situation…that means he has a date night with Liz on the evening.

Still better then snow, ice and freezing temps.

Lady Luck must have fun conspiring against Jon to give him bad luck to make him miserable.

Garfield is living a great life. Lucky boy.

It’s the rainy season in Mexico City. Today the high was 78°F. with moderate humidity. Right now it’s raining and 60°.
