And none of them have much tomato flavor. As i realize anew each summer when my taste buds swoon over toms from the Farmer’s Market. MMMMMmmmmmmm……

OK, fancy tomatoes look better than regular tomatoes so are probably worth $1.00/lb more, but fancy-schmancy tomatoes don’t look any different from fancy tomatoes, and certainly not like they’d be worth $7.00/lb more.

Next bin: Organic Tomatoes $15.00/lb.

Home grown mostly free with sweat equity put into them.

Fancy-schmancy only at Whole Foods. Bezos needs the money.

I need the soft bruised and slightly moldy tomatoes, I’m on a budget.

Don’t forget the entire tier of Organic!!!! Tomatoes!!!

Heirloom tomatoes.

Organic, artisinal, locally-grown, heirloom fancy-schmancy tomotoes – Don’t ask; you couldn’t afford them.

Home grown from our own backyard. Heirlooms, purple, look like brains sometimes. With real tomato flavour, not that wet cardboard feel and taste you get from a grocery store.

At that price, they would rot in the bin.

I remember when fancy schmancy tomatoes were only $5/lb! Ah, the good ol’ days.

Fancy schmancy tomatoes are bigger than fancies. Probably heavier (meatier) than fancies, too.
