One thing that made Peanuts so timeless is that everyone is in love with each other. There is no official or implied couple, like a lot of cartoons like to do these days.

One can, NEVER, OWN, another human being. Just be , LUCKY, enough to enjoy passing deep time with, for as long as that time allows.

So the baby steps then, Marcie?

Every man has been taken back to the pound at least once, in his lifetime…….

One difference about your pets: you don’t own a boyfriend.

I never had a pet till my 10th or 11th year. It was a rat terrier. It was decades before I learned why it was called what it was. Aside from being as small as a large rat, it also loved to hunt down mice. My pit bull mix also shares that love of the mice hunt.

These days I prefer the company of cats lol.

She has to learn how to manage him.

I grew up with dogs, cats, and hamsters. Now I’ve had my husband for 54 years.:)
