Year after year, year after year, same old bathing suit sequence. How about something new, already?!!!!!

Store mirrors are nothing but LIARS!!! I’ve been in stores where their mirrors told me how great I looked in something . . . and then, when I brought it home, my mirror had the nerve to ask me: “What in the Hell were you thinking buying that thing?!?!?! You look absolutely awful in it!!! TAKE IT BACK!!!!! TAKE IT BACK BEFORE SOMEONE SEES YOU IN IT!!!!!” (Of course, the clothing I was buying that looked soooooo good on me in the store wasn’t a swimsuit . . . in which case, those mirrors always seem to turn into the same kind that Cathy’s looking into right now — a really horrible, super-crazy fun-house mirror that does absolutely nothing but grossly distort every single flaw on your body that you try so hard to cover up every other day of the year . . . whether you’re as “pudgy” as Cathy is or not! Whoever invented swimsuits was a true sadist, that’s for sure!!!!!) We might as well face it, ladies: we just can’t win no matter what! [a sigh and an eyeroll right now!]
