I was hoping we’re getting a new arc with Daphne since it’s summer time

Daphne is back

Well, I’m glad to see that daphne’s character is not going to be deleted. I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if he did something like that but at least he still has a little story development skill left in that head of his. Btw this is not the beginning of an arc, it’s just a sunday strip but we may be getting a daphne arc soon i guess

This strip has got me thinking, Nate makes a bigger variety of comics than he reads. Obviously he is a comic nerd, but 99% of what he reads is Femme Fatality, which is a big detriment for his female relationships.

It’d be nice if Nate picks up some new hobbies or habits because of Daphne and vice versa. Getting Nate to start reading for example would be an interesting character development

Yes!! I actually cheered when I saw this!!

And it’s honestly (no bias) a really funny strip! I love the book Nate picks, and how Daphne isn’t annoyed, just bantering him! Plus this sounds potentially fun! Daphne’s got him to study so let’s see if she can open his mind (or maybe vice versa)! Also huh, Big Nate characters usually don’t change looks but this is the third different outfit Daphne has. Am I mistaken? Usually doesn’t happen to my memory.

I know many would disagree but why do people make such a big commotion and predictions about what will happen the next day, just enjoy the strip for the day so you dont need to study and think about something that may not even be true

Leigh Bardugo’s Shadow and Bone trilogy (Shadow and Bone, Siege and Storm, Ruin and Rising) was published in 2012-2014. It has been adapted for TV by Netflix.

The fantasy trilogy is set in a land modeled on 19th century Russian and follows an orphaned teenage girl who discovers she has great powers. Said powers—unsurprisingly!—lead to dangerous complications in her life.

Well, here we go, people! Finally! We got back to Daphne finally, which, as you all know, we all in the comments have been waiting for this. Y’all remember that really decent poem, sorta right when Nate met Daphne? Know how I said easily a 10/10? Well, I know that Nate was not a reader, and Daphne is, but with Nate loving Daphne and Daphne is in love with Nate, this could be a really long couple to stay together!

Daphne and Nate might not have one thing in common, but I remember one strip that had Daphne saying, “I hate cats, Social Studies and egg salad.” I remember that, dont you? But what I am saying is that Nate and Daphne have one thing that they dont have in common, but Daphne and Nate do have a bunch in common considering that earlier strip.

Another way to settle this off is that remember in Big Nate: Living it up, when Nate screams at the new little kid because he bullied Nate in Pre- K? So Nate goes home, and then after a while drawing comics, Dee Dee comes up and starts the stupid conversation again. Then the guy shows up and say they both dont have something in common but Dee Dee and Nate does. So this comic may think that they dont have something in common, but dw, it doesnt matter.

So then again, I am making a 9/10 just because of this comic returns Daphne, but its an okay strip.

I would suggest Robin Hobb’s Farseer trilogy (Assassin’s Apprentice, Royal Assassin, Assassin’s Quest). There are four more book series in Hobb’s Realm of the Elderlings world which should keep Daphne occupied for some time.

WTF, I started reading this comic when i was about 6; i’m sure a lot of other 6-year-old boys and even younger read this comic……. And then they go and look it up on the internet, then get led to Por… Whoops.

10/10 Feeling generous but I’m so happy Daphne is finally back. Shadow and Bone is a pretty good book. Also pretty funny ig.

Imma make a quick prediction, feel free to reply with yours: Daphne is gonna try and find a book Nate likes, either fails miserably because comedy or manages to compromise by finding a book that reflects both their interests

I wasn’t a reader, at his age, either, as I much preferred being outdoors. But, when I joined the Military, I was stationed somewhere we had no television, and it was in a foreign country, so, we didn’t have access to a lot of activities, other than walking, and what was on the base. So, I started reading, and haven’t stopped, 46 years later.
