Geez Louise, even that appeals to me. And I’m not one to sit still for longer than like 20 minutes.

And, go figure, I’m awake at 5:20 a.m. on a Saturday when I have nowhere that I need to be and nothing to be doing. ‘Cept being comatose. Too early to go swimming. Billy not here (6th day . . . sigh). LMB got up when I did but he’s gone back to sleep in my lap. Oh, and then there’s the charley horse from heck that got me out of bed in the first place. Common with MD/CMT patients and my muscle relaxer let me down yet again.

Wow I commented on a lot of my 23 comics this morning. Unusual. Too much time on my hands.

Morning Susan I forget if you arrive on Saturdays. More likely afternoon for lightenup on a weekend day. Hello and welcome BronzePony. Nice to see our family growing. :-)

Some days are just like that, don’t even get out of PJ’s and leave the blinds closed so neighbors can’t tell if you are home or not….catch up on DVR recordings…..AHHHH

I’m always a blob, but in front of a laptop, not a TV. Never watch that particular box, not for three years now.The company behind my monitor is much more interesting!

Before I forget and get busy the rest of the day:

hi mom! We were without the Internet last night when Billy commented. Looks like Verizon was just testing our line. An updated email from them says they’re sending us a new router to handle the new speed increase. Looks like no interruption is forthcoming, but one never knows.

That´s what I have in mind for tonight! Having two small kids my husband totally agrees. Cathy´s home in panel 4 looks as if she had kids too…

Thanks Aaron for the welcome and I hope you get better. Have a good day everyone!

Me too! Sounds like a great night in… I’m such a homebody most of the time… :-)I’m running really late today, so a quick hello to ALL the Cathy nuts! Aaron, I hope your cramp is better by now. I’m also done with the Mr. Potato Head eyes, so you can have them too. I’m not sure you need them with your bionic eye, but okay… I could use them back when the kids misbehave though. ;-)I’m off to relax for a while… Have a great night everyone!

Irving really MUST be in love if he still wanted to come over and see Cathy after that really DELIGHTFUL picture she painted of herself!!!!! Yikes!!! and AACK!!!!!

    HI AARON & DR. BILLY!!!!!

Aaron: Are you feeling better now? I know what you mean regarding today’s early wake-up call as my husband and I had one ourselves at 3:16 a.m. this morning when our dog had a seizure. She’s doing fine. She has one about once a week (although she occasionally has one every 2 — or maybe even 3 (if we’re lucky) — weeks) and they’re normally about 6 minutes long from start to finish. She’s 10 now and we’ve been doing this since she was approximately 15 months old. It’s hell but we deal and then we move on. But despite that, she’s pure sunshine and we wouldn’t trade her for all the money in Mark Zuckerberg and Bill Gates’ bank accounts!

    ;-)

K.F.G.: Have fun in Chile! How long will you be gone? Don’t have so much fun that you forget all about us . . . you hear?!?!? We’ll miss you!!!!! ;-)

Good evening, lightenup, lightenupjr., K.F.G., Susan, lindz.coop, rgcviper, gmforde, serenasakitty, kittycatpawsare, hendelca, Gator007, legaleagle48, mollie05, AnonaMona, soonergal, Willi Nilli, Bronzepony, Doctor Toon, marmar in MI, Saucy1121, Hobbes (if you should happen to drop by) and all the REST of the “Cathy” fanatics joining us here tonight. As always, great to “see” you all!

The cramp stuff is short-term. I try to eat a banana a day and drink more water, but water is just . . . boring. However, juice is sugary and soda is worse, so staying properly hydrated is the bane of a person with MD/CMT. Leg cramps are common and a small dose of Zanaflex usually keeps them at bay. But not always. Dreaming about hiking and then feeling the cramp in my dream, then waking up to it in reality is the pits because it’s always in the wee hours.

Poor LMB thinks the devil himself is in the house. Friend Billy will just deeply massage the muscle to straighten it back out. The Snopes article mentioned flexing before bedtime so I’ll give that a try too. I’m toast, so nite nite.

Hi Molly, actually CMT is more accurate but only those with CMT know what that means so I say MD. Genetically different, though still an amazing amount of struggling in any given day. I’m quite mobile, walk about a mile a day, though not at any land speed record, and, as you’d guess, am really really active on the job.

Sadly a losing battle which will come to a peak (or a major depression) one day. Not soon, but not later either. Can’t ride a bike very much because exercise, strangely enough, speeds the progression of CMT. I ignore that thought when I play sports because I’m not one to sit on my duff and wait. Also, the old adage of “where there’s a will, there’s a way” is words to live by. Not necessarily brave, but, there you go. :-)

    Such a glamorous couple-to-be, aren’t they?

I think my brain hurt tonight when my eyes hit it in the classic eye-roll.

But, on second thought, I’d say Cathy’s (and irving’s) opinion reflects that of many people’s in society.

Hi other Cathyites!! As for Cathy — it’s fine to veg out, but I try to at least take a shower first. The last panel is rather unsavory.
