Good evening, Crew!

This strip reminds me of an episode of All Creatures Great And Small. Siegfried, tired of ‘bangers and mash’ bought some expensive steaks. His brother Tristan was to cook them. He had set them on the table and when the phone rang he left to answer it. Of course the dogs snatched the steaks and ate them. Siegfried was furious and Tristan was angry at the dogs. I don’t blame the dogs for eating those steaks! I don’t blame Louie for his choice either. :-)

I left a sandwich on the dining room table & went back into the kitchen to get something. When I returned, the sandwich was on the floor, the cat was wolfing down the ham & cheese, and the dog was licking the mayonnaise off the bread.

Temptation can get to the best of us!!

The dogs and cats are our family…they know we want to share.

My take on this is that Henry, et al, have learning disabilities, hence not learning to put tasty morsels in the ( not being used at the moment) microwave for temp. storage ( like for a couple minutes).

How could Louie resist meatballs? Seriously?
