No ride into town this morning. We got fog and a bit of rain. We had another thundershower around bedtime. LMB stayed close and I talked to him through it. He’s not much into lightning either and we had plenty of that.

She looks like a little kid being chauffeured around by her parents. But seriously, Charlene, shut up!! You’re annoying! It’s like parents who talk differently to people without kids… why only talk about being a parent? No matter who I am with, there is always something we have in common, so that’s what I focus on. Charlene seems to be feeling a little smug today. Hello, Cathy gang. Thanks for the welcome. Aaron, my two mutts Lily and Rosie want LMB to know that they don’t like thunderstorms either, and we’ve had a lot of those here in Georgia lately!

My 15-year-old cat doesn’t turn a whisker when it thunders. He’s seen it all before. But the 4-year-old tries very hard to convince me that he’s not petrified, by leaping around the place like a banshee.

He fails every time . . .

Whenever I’m sitting in the backseat like that, I always think of myself as a famous celeb of some sort and the driver is my lackey chauffeur!!!!! ;-)

Meanwhile, why is Charlene talking down to Cathy like she’s a 5-year-old child??? “We’ll take our car because we’re the married people” . . . “Simon will drive because he’s the husband” . . . “I’ll sit in front next to him because we’re the couple” . . . and last, but certainly not least . . . “Everything okay back there?” OMG!!!!! I’d be a whole lot more mad at Charlene for being so rude if Cathy didn’t have this one coming to her! How glad is she now that she wanted the be the “third wheel” of this “date” they’re all on together without having one of her own?!?! Makes me wonder how the rest of the night is going to go! All I can say is: Next time, Cathy . . . BRING A DATE — even if it IS Irving — because this night is probably going to be H-E-L-L!!!!!
