I can sort of relate to her today (I said SORT OF, people!). Sometimes I think not-so-nice thoughts, and if I just get them out to other people, I realize how they sound and I then take another stance on the issue. Either that, or all I wanted to do was vent and get some sympathy, then I can move on. If Cathy really likes Irving, then she should just accept him the way that he is — ugly bald head and all — and not try to change him. After all, wouldn’t she want him to do the same thing for her? (And given that he continues to go out with this whack-a-doo when anyone else would run screaming in the opposite direction . . . hasn’t he already proven that he accepts her just the way that she is?!?)

Hi Cathyites!!As if the only thing to object to with Irving was the hair…GretchensMom — Irving accepts her because he never notices her “whack-a-doo-ness” or “nutjobness” — he never really notices her at all. Irving is in his own little world.
