I’m sure Billy will know a lot more than I do, but apparently it’s a rare cancer, but thankfully she found it early so the outlook is good. Sales Lady is the only one who loves playing dress up the Cathy doll. Serves Cathy right for wanting to be all of those things at once. I’m not an every man and Cathy is still a nut job, with the Sales Lady aiding and abetting.

Probably only 10 because I always use less sugar (1/4 to 1/3 less) than the receipe calls for. Nothing needs to be that sweet. Well, LMB, but that’s it. Oh, and Billy. And me if you stretch your imaginaton a bit. :-D

Ohhhh, YUMMMMM!!!! I needed that after this long week. Thank you, Susan and catsarge, for your kindness for my friend, Kate. She is cheerful and optimistic, but I know this is a scary time for her.And thank you, Aaron, for what you said. :-)

What on earth is Cathy thinking buying all this expensive, ugly crap anyhow?!? What a horrible waste of money this getup is. She should have stuck with the outfit from panel 3 yesterday — a silk tank top, pearl necklace, camel pants (whatever those are), a pair of flats and her hair in a cute little ponytail . . . all of it the epitome of the term “Elegant Outdoorsy” in my opinion. She looked really nice but didn’t appear as though she was trying too hard to outshine the bride. As for the hairstyle she’s sporting right now . . . it may have looked good on Lucy in the 1950’s but it doesn’t belong in any other decade after that . . . and certainly not on Cathy!!!!!

lightenup: Good luck to your friend Kate. Glad to hear that despite such a rare-sounding cancer, her prognosis of survival looks good. We’ll be thinking about her and hoping for a speedy recovery!

Aaron: Apple Pie Bars . . . Easy Raspberry Molten Cakes . . . yet 2 more wonderfully delicious looking and sounding desserts bookmarked on my computer that I plan on doing someday in the future! Along with a tart pan, I now need at least 6 custard cups in my pantry! Before long, I’m going to be on my way to the poorhouse just like Cathy . . . not because of an over-abundance of new clothes I don’t need or look good in (and which I abhor shopping for anyhow!) but because of all the kitchen supplies I covet in order to make all these wonderful desserts that you “make” for us!!!!! Thank goodness the virtual calories aren’t fattening or I’d weigh as much as a ton of bricks by now!!! Keep them coming though because I love each and every one of them!!!!! YUM!!!!!!!!!! ;-)

Glad to be back here with all my “peeps” again after a few day’s absence! I’ve been busy, busy, busy around my house lately but managed to find a few minutes to catch up on all my comics reading — especially here on “Cathy’s Corner” — before the end of yet another day. I’ve missed you all! While I haven’t been able to be here physically, I’ve been here spiritually and thought about you all every day. Hope everyone has a really GREAT weekend!!!!!

Thanks to the continuing march of medical science and research, some cancers are becoming much more straightforward to deal with. I do hope your friend has the best of treatment and the happiest of results, lightenup. It’s a good start that she has a supportive and understanding friend to help her through.

As for Cathy, though – she needs an army of friends to protect her from the sales ladies!

I wish i had all the money cathy has waste away on all those ugly outfits she makes real nutjobs look normal.I hope for the best for your friend Kate. <3 : ) Hi to all the cathy nuts out there tonight have a great weekend. : )
