Since the invitation doesn’t specify what kind of jeans, Cathy, any pair will clearly do. Thank goodness men don’t have the problem that you do of overthinking their wardrobe choices — we just grab whatever fits and go! EYEROLL

I just grab a bunch in my size, try them on, and buy the comfy ones. No idea how to categorize the jeans I own, other than “comfortable jeans.”

Sadly this is not overly exaggerated. For work it’s Dockers or the like. Easy. For jeans, at least for me, it’s the slim straight leg. Blue or black, when I buy new jeans. I don’t deal with the stone-washed, faded, ripped, etc etc. They will become all that on their own. Lee or Levis only though. They are the only brands that fit right first time every time.
Morning Susan request received. Aaron is making something for the firehouse today so we’ll let you know.
NICE to see you last night :-D

I don’t own a pair of jeans nowadays. I find them horribly uncomfortable – those thick, hard seams are in the worst of places! So I have resorted to what I prefer to call “tracksuit trousers”. They are soft and loose, yet warm and comfy. (Not practical for work, though, I would imagine.)
I just wish that they weren’t sold under the slightly off-putting name of “jogging bottoms”.

Yup, what Billy said.
Morning Susan grab a fork! :-D Afternoon Anona Mouse Trackies to the youth culture of the UK. But no, not for work. Companies will send an employee home to change when not dressed appropriately.

Dessert for my fire company mates. Can’t miss with a classic strawberry shortcake. Mine includes some blueberries too that I want to use up.

I have 2 sets of jeans (all Levi’s because that’s what fits me best)… “nice” (meaning fairly new, darker wash, no holes) and what I wear most days (well-worn, usually with holes in the knees). If it’s an event that requires something nicer, then I won’t wear jeans.<br.HI EVERYONE!!! I’m so sorry that I ran out time yesterday to log in and say hello. Things seemed off without my Cathy friends. Thank you (or Merci) for all the nice wishes for my trip! I’m leaving Thursday afternoon, so I’ll be preparing until then. Jr and Lil will not be going on this trip, which will be nice on one hand, but I will really miss them on the other. It will be an anniversary trip for Mr. Lightenup and I — what a wonderful thing… I am truly fortunate! We are also lucky because 2 of his bosses are French, so he’s gotten some great recommendations on where to go. I do need to work on learning some French, Aaron, although I try not to be an embarrassing tourist when I travel. My comment is getting quite long, so I wish a wonderful Sunday to all and hugs to everyone!!

Personally, I fall into the category of “Jeans are Jeans are Jeans”. Hard to overthink too much.
And, yup … I’ll toss in an [eye-roll].
Happy Sunday, all.

My double great niece bought the ones with holes in them.I asked her if the sale included the pieces so she could mend them.
Strawberry short cake sure looks good, Aaron.
