Cathy: Save or throw out? I don't know. Will I ever use it? Don't know. How about this? Don't know. Will I need this? Don't know. Will I miss this? Don't know. This? This? This? Don't know. I'm not "disorganized". I'm "dis-decisioned"! Caption: Having given up on the kitchen drawer, the homeowner merely straightens up and re-labels herself.

It makes a strange kind of logic… She could be organized, if she knew where to start.
Good morning SUSAN NEWMAN, frightenup, GretchensMom and everyone who stops here today!

Good afternoon fellow Cathyites. Another quiet Saturday it seems. Thank you to all those who wished me well and sent me energy to get through the flood aftermath. It really helped. The good news is nothing of any real value was damaged – other than some easily replaced furniture. Well, my younger daughter’s first bed (she is now 26) has sentimental value but not a terrible loss really. GretchensMom – that was excellent advice on how to decide what to keep. We have not yet started the sorting process as we are waiting for the insurance company to give the go-ahead for reconstruction but I will keep those points in mind when we do start. After I posted the message the other day, I started up my main computer – the one I earn my living on – only to find the hard drive had failed so I could not boot up. So, three days later, I have finished reinstalling everything (nothing lost – I believe in LOTS of backup) and starting to catch up on my comic reading (more important than catching up on work).

So, KFG disappears for a while then comes back and all is well. Therefore, Aaron and Billy will come back and all will be well. Right? Ok, KFG has disappeared again but this time we know why and where she is so not a problem – but it would still be nice to hear from her again.

See what happens when you think of KFG – you end up making a lot of little posts.

Oops, thought of Aaron and Billy again (cannot think of one without the other). Now my mouth is watering – need dessert!

I too am dis-decisioned. Enough of this, time to get at that latest list of bugs and enhancement requests – ie work.

I’m hoping Aaron and Billy will pop up, FBOFW-style, on the last day of the month, cackling BOOOOO! at us all.
We all hope you three (not forgetting LMB) are well, and just having too much fun to call in lately.

Right there with you, PhoebeDog! While I’m better about this kind of thing than I use to be, I’m still not as good as I want to be (unfortunately, I take after my parents a little too much in this area!). But we plan on moving a little farther south for milder winters within the next 2 or 3 years so that will give me plenty of incentive to get rid of all my junk then — right down to the half-dozen or so cookie cutters taking up valuable space in my kitchen that I can’t quite seem to let go of . . . even though I’ve had them for probably 20 years, have never used them and doubt very much that I ever will!!!!! [sigh!!!!!]
Hope everyone’s been having a really nice weekend!!!!!
