I’m sorry, everyone. I just can’t seem to comment on the comic today. I keep thinking of those poor children in CT and how crazy this world is sometimes. God bless everyone and please help continue to make this world a better place. :’(

And worse, probably more to come now that’s it’s evident that’s the way to get publicity – the entire newscast last night was devoted to it. Several years ago there was a disastrous house fire in Keokuk, Iowa. Semis and satellite dishes were soon on the scene. Just what the survivors needed!! (Can’t these disasters be handled a bit more discreetly instead of being media bonanzas?)

I completely agree and understand lightenup. I hug my children and tell them I love them everyday but when tragedies like this happen, I hug them harder. We shouldn’t have to be afraid to send our children to school.

Take comfort in knowing that 27 souls are with God and one rat-bastard is burning in Hell.

Wish we had the ability to “like” a comment here!!!!!

I find it impossible to comment on events like the one mentioned. There is no reason, no logic behind such things – just a mad, warped mind in what must once have been a human being.

God bless the bereaved, and also the survivors. X

Well said, everyone. My thoughts are with the victims and their families.

As for the comic, the usual [eye-roll] should do.

    Peace to all.

Hi Cathyites…I feel the same as most of you have expressed — and my heart goes out to the families of these victims. I also feel these tragedies are preventable on multiple fronts. I am a therapist and we have been cautioned by our director to be ready to help our young clients process what they have seen and heard, and to cope with the reality of going to school in an increasingly dangerous atmosphere. I have a six-year-old coming in on Monday, so that will be my job for this week (which of course, is also the week before what should be the excitement of Christmas for him).

I can’t understand how the news could be so uncaring because the poor souls hoo lost there love didn’t need them there i think i would want time to get the grip on what just happen and not have them in there face my heart goes out to all of the family. :(
