I just bought a new car, and our neighbors tried to shame us for not buying an EV.

Your car is your choice. But, if you happen to drive and EV you’ll but one.

Still waiting for the scientific evidence that carbon remediation will cause more sea water to be evaporated and forced farther inland, against gravity and atmospheric cooling, in order to slow, halt or reverse sea rise, glacial recession and desertification.

I noticed that you can’t ask an SUV owner if they considered getting an EV without them assuming it’s an attack. Of course back in the day you couldn’t ask a Ford truck owner if he considered a Chevy without igniting WWIII.

Standard business research practice; i.e., the organization paying for the research determines the outcome of the research. Side topic – I live in a state that requires vehicles to display a license plate on the front and rear of the vehicle. Why do most owners of Tesla vehicles fail to display their front license plates? Tesla doesn’t install the front mount In the factory, but rather places it in the vehicle for the car owner to install. Does the lack of a front license plate make your EV look cooler? Silly me, I didn’t know I had a choice.

If she bought an expensive SUV, it probably has an electric hatch at the back, too. :)

Wife has an electric vehicle that is considered an SUV. I have a PHEV SUV and will be replacing it with the fully electric version when it comes out in 2024 or 2025.
