Cookie monster can’t have any more cookies. Oh the horror.

But it’s how he always wanted to go.

Make that monstrously high.

Time for a shot Mr. Monster!!!

“No more food of any kind, you’ve done it this time Buster!”

Looks like Cookie Monster is crumbling with the news,

Chocolate Chip, addicted, my type 2 is not happy…

Nom, nom, nom, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

About 15 years ago the producers of Sesame Street changed Cookie Monster’s behavior so that he also ate fruit and veggies and he starting calling cookies a “sometimes” food.

He’ll eat those cookies ‘til he’s blue in the face.

Old sketch from Sesame Street (might go back 30 years) had Ernie trying to convince Cookie Monster that a carrot is much more delicious than cookies. Of course, Ernie just wants CM to take the carrot and leave his cookies alone. CM appears to take the bait, gobbling up the carrot and proclaiming that Ernie was right: “It delicious!” Then comes the punchline: "And now, " says Cookie Monster, “cookies!” And of course he throws himself on Ernie’s plate of cookies.

My favorite line in that exchange comes after Ernie has told CM that carrots are more delicious than cookies.

“Carrot is more delicious than cookies??” (short pause) Then, incredulously: “You putting me on.”

“Screw you, Doc! Cookie Monster want cookie!”
