Too late. They’ve already invested massive amounts of money into owning European soccer teams and sponsoring major sporting events in Europe for several decades.

Now they’re getting into the NBA, WNBA, and NHL. The Qatar Investment Authority just purchased a 5% interest in the group that owns several Washington teams, including the Wizards, Capitals, and Mystics.

Golf hurt, as that was probably my second favorite sport until it died at The Masters earlier this year. (At least for me, couldn’t watch it.)

But hey, more free time.

A sport that involves free money? Count me in.

If they are buying that means someone is selling. So which group really deserves our “ire”?

Sports is about money? What a shock.

Pfft…pickleball is the wave of the future. The people’s sport, totally immune to the forces of greed.

Tennis is Saudi Arabia?The women’s tour has the most famous people!!
