The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence. Chickens cross roads. And Erma Bombeck assures us The Grass Is Always Greener Over the Septic Tank.
Realtor showing apartment in new building. In each room he yells out a window, GREEN SIDE UP! After 5 rooms the people get curious and ask. Why do you go to a window in each room and yell Green Side Up.Oh, It’s nothing replies the realtor . We have a bunch of (choose your nationality) out there laying sod and we have to keep an eye on them.

The moral for this story is: no matter how important the query, you have to look both ways.

Q: Why’d Broomie cross the road? A: To get hit by a truck, so’s we all commentators and viewers would get a great laugh at her constant misfortunes…

Nothing about grass, it’s your paying attention to traffic that is the problem….

Didn’t Broomie’s Mommy teach her to “look both ways before crossing”?!
Or was that too long ago for Broomie to remember? Anyway, she does “the full Charlie Brown” as the big semi nearly runs her down: HONK….
