It’s not the monsters, it’s the spiders.

Monsters: no problem, I carry. Spiders? wear gloves to swat them with. Cat boxes are down there: now that requires full protective gear with chemical protective mask.

…and I just thought my husband’s reluctance to go into our basement was because of the stairs!

I wonder what his plan is for the monster under the bed.
