I do not understand this issue. The woman has just as much responsibility as the man, and leaving the seat down is just as disruptive— ie, this just forces him to check every time. The way we deal with it in our house is that everybody puts down the seat AND the lid. Besides, it’s healthier that way because tiny particles splash up when you flush.

I always keep the seat down….

If it is not one thing it is another…..mite as well be this.

I assume that she leaves the seat up for him in the same way she wants him to leave the seat down for her. Hahahahaha

Flushing aerosolizes the water and when you flush with the seat and lid up. little microscopic droplets of water, and whatever is in the water, spray out and around the area. As the Mythbusters said in an episode a long time ago, “We all live in an ocean of poo.”
