My cat disappeared on Christmas Day. He returned six days later limping on his left hind leg. The emergency room vet said his femur was broken in several places. The surgery by an orthopedic veterinary surgeon cost $1440. You can hardly notice the limp today, but he no longer gets to go outside. As an indoor cat, whenever loud cars, motorcycles, or heavy machinery go by the house, he hides under the bed.
The latest feral cat that I’m working on, had stopped coming by 10 days ago. To my surprise, he was outside last night and very hungry. I figure soon I just might be able to pet him.
My cat Lt. Nog, has had several seizures, between August 2022-May 2023. Every time, I’d take him to a vet, to get him checked.
Three vets, and almost $3,000 later (of which, I still owe about $1,800 due to disability, and not finding work), he’s on a med 2x a day, and has been seizure free for 2 months.
I love this, a much better use than having it pinched by The Green Ship bunch. Henry and co. can replace their doubloons by donations from people willing to pay for Nate not to parade around on the beach, in his thong.

Very nice act-of-kindness. But that may get them kicked out of the pirate’s union.
