What does it matter as long as it works?
Garfield doesn’t beg, he just takes.
Given with a smile as well…..
Jealous?
If pathetic works, pathetic it is.
How did they get on the table?
I’ve seen huskies acting like drama queens.
Hey- why isn’t it possible anymore to post links to other GC-strips? I wanted to post the strip from “Off the Mark”, August 03, 2023 and it only showed: >
If you’re good at begging you don’t have to steal.
Ah Garfield, we all know you don’t need to beg, you just skip ahead to stealing it
Odie is very persuasive. Garfield just takes what he wants.
I hope that Jon had some of the food as well…
Whereas Garfield takes the more direct approach: just steal the food.
I hope Lyman has something to eat too.
Garfield did once say that groveling is not one of his strongest suits.
Indeed. Dogs are masters at getting you to give them some of your food.

better than slapping, stealing and pranking for it in the end.
You could put Odie on the floor, Jon.
It’s true the dog will come over and look up at you while your eating dinner, with those eyes looking up at you. The cat never did that!
Score one for the dogs… for scoring a free meal.
Odie had me at that big grin. He’s my favorite character.
I wonder if Garfield has tried that before.
The “sad puppy eyes” works every time
about the only thing… other than making noise, and bad smells, and vet bills
Odie plays Jon’s heart strings like Itzhak Perlman. If he played like Jack Benny, he’d probably get a banana peel!
I can’t believe Odie beat Garfield out on food!
It works for Odie, but for Garfield? I’m not so sure.
From personal experience, cats can be beggars also.
Garfield surprised you let the dog get any food
Of course, Garfield just takes it
