and now she’s in a Bond film?

The last time I said that, I got hit with a dictionary.

The Greeks have a saying:

“Η γλώσσα κόκαλα δεν έχει και κόκαλα τσακίζει” (The tongue has no bones, but it breaks bones.)

“I glossa kokala then exi kai kokala tsakizi”

Make sure your words are sweet and soft, you may have to eat them some day.

But wait, if you suck really well, then you’re good at something.

Says the haters who wish they had your talent and fame. You rock, Sarah!

Oh pain and devastation! Can’t please everybody, don’t try.

Words do, indeed, hurt a lot. I think there are times I would have preferred the sticks and stones.

Why did I hear that quote in Unreal Tournament voice?

“Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me.” throws A dictionary at the person who said that

The correct response is “So does your mother!”
