Every time I read Tommy’s name, I think Toonerville — as in Toonerville Trolley. Too damm bad Tuberville’s political train (his Senate seat) can’t be cancelled like the Skipper’s trolley run — only permanently instead of for a week.

I said this yesterday and it bears repeating…Senator Tommy Tuberville of Alabama and his holdup of confirmations. Senate Democrats need to act. They can change Senate rules on holding nominees. They can also censure him. This childishness is unworthy of the Senate.
