I had a cat who would come inside two or three times a day to fetch me for a walk. He wandered around the neighborhood on his own, too. He just liked walking with me. We could go outside his personal territory and I could warn him about other cats. We even walked in the redwoods when I lived up there for a while. He was the walkingest cat I ever heard of.

Leave it to Jon to make a plan work, then immediately fail afterwards.

oh Jon…you say the vet part AFTER WHEN IT’S TOO LATE FOR THEM TO AVOID IT!

Like the tearaway panel but Garfield would never go into space. Too much trouble getting the helmet off and food in.
edmund_graham about 1 year ago
Garfield must have trained Odie well that the word walk didn’t get him to wake up
nicholasbonnie3 about 1 year ago
Now Jon, I don’t know what you were expecting when you brought up the vet.

Oh come on, boys, it’s Liz we’re talking about here! By the way, Jon, you’ve been going steady with Liz since 2006. Hurry up and marry her already!
CaveCat87 about 1 year ago
Jon just made the first mistake in trying to get Garfield and Odie to get up by telling them about getting treats at the vet.

I wish I could sleep on command like that. Seems like a cool superpower.

One thing I love about this one is it really shows off the artist’s ability to draw his characters in a versatile amount of positions.
