This is a commercial for a local SF bank thet was used as a bumper for a local PBS station. This SF native thinks it’s pretty good. Mr Bennett on vocals and a great local dance group on visuals https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JCMj2U3xj7s
I saw him live with his daughter less than 10 years ago. That would have made him @86. He still had the voice, and he was still a handsome man. He didn’t need gyrating dancers, fireworks, loud music. All he needed and had was his voice. Most singers today could only wish they have his talent.
What a beautiful tribute, Mr. Breen. As a cartoonist myself, I can only hope to be able to produce editorial cartoons with the degree of sensitivity that your work commonly expresses. Farewell, Tony Bennett. My lasting memory of you was hearing your voice on the radio crooning, “I Left My Heart in San Francisco,” when I was a child. That was a long time ago and yet, in a sense, it was as if it were yesterday.
I am extremely sad that your work will no longer be in the SDUT. You are great. Thank heavens you are here! I wish you the best of luck and that this change will bring about wonderful surprises.

Steve Breen has been released from the San Diego paper. Hedge funds are destroying whole segments of journalism. $$$$$ fever rampant.
