Why not? Caulfield has been challenging Mrs Olsen, making her question things and taking her out of her comfort zone.

I think we all want to be challenged a just hard enough level to allow us to feel good about succeeding. And we all want to complain about it.

Mrs. Olsen has given Caulfield the hope of having something new to complain about. Given that, of course he’s looking forward to the new school year.

About time she treated him like the Gifted kid he is! He will be a lot less annoying if she gives him the challenges he needs.
