    I got stumped at, “Square the batsman’s wicket”. The wicket’s a post, right? What is " square" of that??

    Thanks to an earlier comment I looked it up. “Silly Point” – “A fielding position, on the off side, square of the batsman’s wicket, and very near the batsman; a fielder in this position.”
