You could be lazier.

When Hawthorne says, “Everybody’s crabby these days”, the fish swimming by are all smiling.

That won’t work either, ‘cause everybody’s lazy, too, these days.

Don’t try to steal Sherman’s life.

Hawthorn is too conceited to realize it, but he has lots of character flaws.

Try being happy, Hawthorne, at least it’s better than being crabby.

You could be more annoying than you already are.

Try changing your name to “Karen”.

How about being nice. That would be unusual enough.

You could be an eyestalker. You’ve got the eyes for it.

Dopey or Grumpy might work……

Deferentially courteous? Nobody does that anymore.
