Sorry Fred, they don’t know what it means to you!

Exercising those sad basset eyes, Fred.

In the US, they certainly don’t allow dogs on golf courses. Can’t imagine they do in the UK.

Time for the puppy dog eyes………

I am in disgust! Our Fred a nuisance? And they dare to say that even in front of him? That is extremely rude. Fred is a nice dog and only a nuisance at the butcher’s. That’s for sure!

Oh for heavens sake, take Fred with you. You know he loves being with you both in the fresh air.

Awe, you guys! Take him along. Although I’m not quite sure if golf courses allow for dogs. But anyway, it’s a comic strip!

Fresh air and exercise are over-rated anyway, right Fred?

He wants to be a good boy now for the golfing crowd.

Hopefully tomorrow will feature him at the golf course.

One question: Does he try to retrieve the golf balls from the fairways? I can see he might be helpful in the rough, though…

Members shall refrain from picking up lost balls – at least until they stop rolling.

How could they consider going somewhere that their wonderful Fred would not be welcome!

Might as well lay down and take a nap ….. Fred …….. this may take awhile …. :)

Many years ago, I lived a few houses over from a golf course. My basset hound had a habit of grabbing golf balls on the putting green of one of the holes. The golfers would (sometimes) get a little upset.
