How is it that a baseball player can hit a ball coming at him at 90+ MPH with 30,000 fan screaming but a golfer needs complete silence and have the ball sitting up on a tee.

Plus, golf used to be considered a “gentlemen’s” game (say elitest) so everyone was supposed to be courteous and respectful. So was tennis. Baseball (and Football) started as rowdy, sometimes violent sports – something for the teeming masses. I’m afraid “gentlemen” are rare anywhere nowadays. Then came money, greed, and politics. Then there is a certain politician that plays golf that turns a lot of people from the game.

They sure do. Beheading will definitely shut the shouters up.

That’s actually NOT a bad idea. People since the stupid Covid lockdowns have lost all sense of how to behave. Maybe a little caning will help them get their mind right.

Waittaminnit…. doesn’t gambling make sports more popular? And make them more money?
