That crowd is going to eat you alive

Your last day, from the look of it.

The ant gets his pessimism proven to him. The eatanter gets his breakfast too……

Nothing like having a bad reputation.

I am so tired of all the pessimism. Optimism, that’s what we need! I’m starting the Optimistic Society.

It’s his day alright. His number came up.

“Brother Ant, come back in! We’ll get you a Membership Card!”

Reminds me of an old Far Side cartoon. It shows two goldfish standing on their tails on a table next to their bowl which has flames on the water. One fish says “Whew – that was a close escape! Of course now we are equally screwed.”
