Thereâs one in the back yard with branches that overhang the back end of our roof. The seed pods in the spring and the leaves in the fallâit wonât let me get my mind out of the gutter.
I knew a fella in Cary, NC who had that dilemma. Owned a 5 acre lot with a big fâin house and fifteen hundred of our beloved (I lived in Raleigh at the time, now in Nevada) little spindly Carolina Pine trees known to snap like matchsticks in a good blow. He cut them all down about 4 feet above ground â every last one of them. Until the town forester got involved it looked like a pine tree lawnâŠ
