It’s not polite to burp at the dinner table, that’s why I prefer to fart.

Burp is better than barf.

Be grateful it wasn’t communal farting, like in that classic scene in BLAZING SADDLES.

I didn’t know that buzzards had teeth.

I played music with the great Vasant Rai. I was invited to dinner. Asked a friend if it was polite to burp. He wasn’t really sure. So, after dinner I asked Vasant. He said, “Is not question of polite. After eating, burp come.”

Burp like you mean it!

I wonder what they were eating .

Better out than in I suppose.

It’s insulting if you don’t burp after a meal when you eat in China.

Who says it’s not polite? Who made that rule and who gave them the authority to do so?
